SASC Advances DOD Civilian Nominations

This week, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by roll call to report out favorably the nominations of:

• Mr. Michael P. Cadenazzi, Jr. to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy;
• Vice Admiral Scott W. Pappano, USN to be Principal Deputy Administrator, National Nuclear Security Administration;
• Mr. Matthew L. Lohmeier to be Under Secretary of Air Force;
• Mr. Justin P. Overbaugh to be Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security;
• Mr. Daniel L. Zimmerman to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs;
• Mr. Anthony J. Tata to be Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness;
• Ms. Katherine E. Sutton to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy;
• Mr. Michael A. Obadal to be Under Secretary of the Army; and
• Mr. Sean D. O’Keefe to be Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
