SASC Approves Civilian Nominations

Washington, D.C. – The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted by voice vote to favorably report the following civilian nominations en bloc:

• Mr. Robert H. McMahon to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness;
• Mr. R.D. James to be Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works;
• Dr. Bruce D. Jette to be Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology; and
• Mr. Shon J. Manasco to be Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.

All nominations were immediately reported to the Senate floor following the Committee’s action.
