SASC Advances ADM Franchetti, Gen. Allvin, 4,316 Additional Military Promotions

Today, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably a list of 4,318 military nominations in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force.

This list includes 38 general officer and flag officer promotions, including:

• Admiral Lisa M. Franchetti, USN to be Chief of Naval Operations
• General David W. Allvin, USAF to be Chief of Staff of the Air Force

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
